Delicious ceremonial grade matcha. The exact flavor I crave. Just wish there was more volume for the price. I will be back again!

Hada is hands down the best coffee spot in South Surrey. Incredible coffee, delicious sandwiches, and genuinely warm service. My new go-to brunch spot. Highly recommend!

I totally recommend the Hada café, inside Michael’s bakery. The food is absolutely delicious — every bite tasted fresh, thoughtful, and full of flavor. The coffee is just as impressive: rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed. You can really tell Ken and Hanah care about the quality of their ingredients and the craft behind every dish and cup. Thank you for elevating the standard of food and coffee in the South Surrey community — your passion truly shines through.

I've been here several times and am always happy with the drinks, food and service. The pair that run the cafe are such lovely, hardworking people. The coffee, matcha, hojicha... You name it, it's delicious. The drinks are made with care and great ingredients. I've also had the mochi and the breakfast sandwich (without meat) and would order other things off the menu in a heartbeat. Definitely check it out if you have the chance! This place is going to become very popular in no time, guaranteed!

We came to Hada the day before their last day, and man where we late to the party! Best coffee I’ve had in South Surrey/ White Rock, we need to find them a new spot immediately as I would be there everyday They were the sweetest owners, made my girlfriend a sandwich with gluten free bread we bought for Michael’s next door. And the coffee was unreal. We miss you already!

5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As a coffee lover always on the lookout for hidden gems—this new spot inside Michael’s Bakery is one to watch. It’s a family-run café that brings a fresh, modern energy into a long-time neighbourhood favourite. The vibe is cozy, minimal, and trendy, but with a rustic charm that feels just right. I tried the Strawberry Matcha Latte and was honestly blown away. You don’t need to drive all the way to Vancouver to catch the trend—this version is better than most. The matcha is strong and high quality (they don’t cheap out), and the homemade strawberry purée adds a light, refreshing flavour without being overly sweet. It’s perfectly balanced and ideal for spring or summer. The Einspänner Latte was new to me but kind of addictive. It’s an Americano with a layer of sweet foam on top—slightly sticky in texture (in a good way), almost like ice cream, but not too heavy or sugary. I’d honestly go for this over a regular latte any day. Rich, smooth, and not watered down. Their coffee in general is excellent—perfectly balanced, not too acidic, with a clean, nutty finish. Iykyk I also tried the French Toast with maple syrup-preserved butter. Super thick, but soaked through just right—the inside was like a soft pudding. Paired with the gourmet butter, it was so good. Highly recommend checking this place out—great drinks, amazing food, and an overall vibe that makes you want to come back. A fresh new addition to the local coffee scene.

I’ve been living in South Surrey for over 4 years now and WAITING for coffee and tea like this! Coming from Vancouver I am used to amazing small, niche businesses that are purveyors of the finest that their shops offer. Sorry to say that South Surrey/White Rock has no such things or places. With this much disposable income and high property/living expenses, it is a real shame that we have to go back to Vancouver or drive to Langley, Steveston and the like to find high quality, amazing customer service and consistency. LOOK NO FURTHER. Hada is amazing. The staff/owners are great. The matcha and teas are exceptional and every drink is made with care and astute knowledge and skill of what is being crafted. I can’t say enough good things about this place and it is our ONLY spot for coffee or tea now. I will tell as many people as I can about it and hope they continue to flourish and thrive! It’s amazing to be able to support such good people who know what good business looks like and should offer to its patrons.

My favourite cafe and bakery in South Surrey. Everyone at Hada and Michaels are always so welcoming and I love the warmth of the atmosphere. The drinks especially the matcha is super delicious. If you’re looking for high quality matcha and pastries Hada and Michaels is the place to go!
